Since I love Autumn so much, I thought I’d give you guys a sneak peak into what I’m doing to celebrate my favorite of all the seasons.
Pumpkin Spice Granola
This is a seasonal item at my local Stop and Shop and I picked it up because I had spare yogurt I needed to eat and I love me some granola. It turned out to be fan-freaking-tastic! I had always avoided pumpkin flavored things because my mom always told me I hated pumpkin as a kid. Turns out, she was wrong. Pumpkin spice is pretty damn delicious, and having a bowl of greek yogurt and pumpkin spice granola is a great way to start the day.

Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea
I recently posted about this on my Instagram! I picked this up last year and looooved it, but I was limiting my caffeine intake at the time. Now, I’m more comfortable with it and I’ve replaced my morning green tea with a chai tea. Add a little bit of milk (any kind) and one packet of zero calorie sweetener and it’s perfect hot or cold.
Autumn Scented Candles
I recently picked up two new candles at my local TJ Maxx. They came in the abstract and ambiguous scents of “Falling Leaves” and “Harvest Time” because those are totally actual scents. Regardless if I can or can’t actually smell falling leaves, and whether or not they really do have a slight scent of apples like the candle, they help to add an atmosphere to my otherwise boring apartment.

Get my Butt Back into Reading
With my recent post of 5 Books to Cozy up with on a Crisp Autumn Weekend Morning, it would make sense that reading would be something to do, right? Well, I have some minor gripes with it as a former English major (having to read so many books that were dry, boring, and included an entire chapter on the species of whales, I wanted to never read a book for years after I graduated).
I’ve recently started reading You’re a Badass at Making Money and it’s not only written well enough to get me to want to read again, but it’s inspired me to get back into blogging and get back to writing. All I need is a cozy Autumn morning and I’ll curl up in my bed, reading.
Fall Color Wardrobe
One of the biggest things I’m doing is wearing Autumn colors: oranges, reds, browns, greens, etc. For my birthday this year I did a little bit of shopping. Conveniently, the beginning of September had the fall colors and clothing out for sale so I was able to pick up a few things. Not only do they help celebrate fall, but those colors are some of my favorites to wear. I’ll also include nail polish in this because I have a gorgeous color that I want to keep on throughout the season.
